Cottonique combines decided on grades of cotton with polyester fibers for a unique, durable upholstery blend that outperforms and outlasts traditional cotton batting. Consequently Serta futons are more resilient, more comfortable and yet surprisingly light. The Serta Redbud futon mattress is constructed with a mini in my view wrapped coil unit as the core, surrounded by 2, 1″ pieces of visco or memory foam, after which wrapped in layers of our cotton poly blend. The Serta Redbud is a 9″ mattress built for years of comfort. Machine lace tufts and true box casing construction complete the Redbud. This Redbud futon mattress is roofed in a lovely meadow green upholstery grade fabric and is full size, 54″ x 75″. All Serta Futon mattresses are compressed, rolled and boxed which makes for ease in shipping and installation.
