New to this line of iComfort mattresses is the Serta iComfort Savant Everfeel Cushion Firm. This model is based off of last year’s customer favorite, but designed to be relatively firmer. If you like a mattress with a firm overall feel, but with enough initial padding to be comfortable, the Savant Everfeel Cushion Firm may be just the mattress for you. The Savant Cushion Firm is the first model in the iComfort collection to feature both Serta PillowSoft Foam and a layer of CoolAction Gel Memory Foam. These two comfort features help get rid of the hard initial feel found in the Genius and Insight models. Like other models in the iComfort collection, the Savant improves upon last year’s line by adding Everfeel Technology and CoolAction Dual Effects Gel Memory Foam. Everfeel technology is designed to mimic the feel of traditional memory foam, but unlike memory foam, the comfort doesn’t change based on the temperature of your room. The other key feature is the layer of CoolAction Dual effects Gel Memory Foam. This premium comfort layer provides all of the benefits of gel memory foam, including less tossing and turning through enhanced pressure relief, deeper REM sleep through increased blood circulation, and extended comfort life, but it also features gel beads with phase change material designed to help control body temp at night. The Comfort Last Toughen Core does a good job of providing Toughen to the lower back, and It’s adjustable base friendly. It also transfers very little motion between partners, which is a valuable feature for light sleepers. Also, comfort is consistent from edge to edge, thanks to the Ultimate Edge foam-encased edge Toughen.
