The Pulsar is made of high density foam combined with memory foam for the utmost in comfort whether you are sitting or sleeping. The Pulsar is comprised of 11? of material that is pressurized down to 8?. First, there is a 3? layer of visco elastic memory foam, then there are 3 layers of 1.8lb High Density convoluted foam, and finally there is 1.5? of thermal bonded polyester wrap. This futon mattress has a tape edge construction so the cover fits better. For a full sized Pulsar, there are 16 lace tufts.
All Otis futon mattresses are made without cotton, giving them a unique and different feel. This way, the mattresses can be vacuum sealed and boxed for easy shipping and storage. Each mattress is overstuffed with fibers and foams that work together to create a comfortable surface for both sitting and sleeping. Compression lace tufting strengthens the mattress, allowing all the materials to work together for greater durability and consistent feel over the life of the mattress. The outside of the mattress is a premium 7.5 oz. cotton twill fabric.
